US Man Arrested over Alleged Threat to Ohio Jewish Centre

Police of Ohio, a U.S state, have arrested a man they believe threatened to carry out a shooting at a Jewish community centre.

James Patrick Reardon, 20, a self-identified white nationalist, posted a video online of a man firing a gun with a caption “Police identified the Youngstown Jewish Family Community shooter as white nationalist Seamus O’Reardon.”

Investigators said the alarm was raised when a post appeared on Instagram showing a man firing a gun with the caption: “Police identified the Youngstown Jewish Family Community shooter as white nationalist Seamus O’Reardon.”

A search of his home revealed several weapons, body armour and a gas mask, police said.

Reardon was charged with telephone communication harassment and aggravated menacing. His bond has been set at $250,000.

It was not immediately clear if Reardon had an attorney.
