DALLAS: The Eid Mela of Eid-ul-Adha was organized and celebrated with great religious devotion, respect and enthusiasm at Mecca Masjid Garland of Dallas, USA.
The Eid Mela organizers also focused the interests of women and children.
Special stalls of food, jewelry, clothes and Mehndi were set up keeping in view of Eid Al Adha preparations. Children spent their time with sacrificial animals and enjoyed the rides of the swings.
Imam of Noori Masjid Texas, Mufti Hasan Raza Khan said that holding of such events help to reduce the feelings for being far away from the homeland.
He said that we should remember our Palestinian brothers and sisters on the eve of Eid Al Adha and pray that their miseries come to an end soon.
People of all schools of thought including Ahle Sunnat, Ahle Tashee, Aga Khani and Bohri communities are celebrating Eid-ul-Adha on Monday while few Masajids that follow Saudi Arabia offered Eid prayers on Sunday.
