JEDDAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the horrific bloody massacre committed by the Israeli occupation army in the Nuseirat camp, in the Gaza Strip, leading to the martyrdom and wounding of hundreds of Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom were women and children, OIC’s statement said.
“It considered that as a continuation of organized state terrorism and a crime of genocide, in flagrant violation of International Humanitarian Law and relevant UN resolutions.”
“Furthermore, the OIC stressed that these crimes require investigation, accountability, and punishment in accordance with international criminal law, underlining the need for the International Criminal Court to fulfill its responsibilities in this regard.”
“The OIC renewed its call on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to urgently intervene in order to stop the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, and to provide international protection for the Palestinian people.”
