Resolution to be present in Texas house of representatives to express solidarity with Kashmiri people, Representative Terry Meza

TEXAS: Texas House of Representative member Representative Terry Meza said that a resolution to express solidarity with Kashmiri people will be present in Texas house of representative soon.

Addressing Kashmir conference organized by friends of Kashmir international,  member house of representatives of the Texas Terry Meza said that we stand with the oppressed against the oppressor and soon a resolution will be presented in the Texas House to express solidarity with the Kashmiris.

Hurriyat leader and vice chairman of friends of Kashmir international Abdul Hameed Lone, who was chief guest of the conference, said that Kashmiris were not only fighting for independence but also for the completion of Pakistan. He said that Kashmiri people have resisted Indian aggression by giving all kinds of sacrifices for the last 76 years.

Presiding over the conference, social leader Abdul Hafeez Khan (TI) said that time has come that US should play its role as mediator to resolve the Kashmir dispute.

He said that the hearts of Pakistanis living in America beat with their oppressed Kashmiri brothers and sisters and they want their freedom.

Chairperson of Friends of Kashmir and host of the conference Ghazala Habib said that the Kashmiri diaspora will play every possible role to expose Indian atrocities to the world.

She said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir want their right, the right to self-determination according to the resolutions of the United Nations and the whole world should support them for this cause.

Pakistan society of North Texas leader Barkat Basira thanked the participants for their interest in the support of Kashmir cause and said that all Pakistanis will continue to support their Kashmiri brothers and sisters morally and diplomatically.

Famous poets Dr. Aamir Sulaiman, Nader Durrani and Ghazala Habib recited their poetry regarding Kashmir in the event. Representative Texas Terry Meza presented a memorial to Hurriyat leader Abdul Hameed Lone, Ghazala Habib and social leader Ashraf Bashir.
