Raja Sajid once again elected as chairman of Brooklyn Mela 2024

NEWYORK: Raja Sajid has been elected as the chairman of Brooklyn Mela 2024.

Pakistani American Merchants Association’s General Secretary Aziz Butt announced the election of Raja Sajid as chairman during a ceremony in Brooklyn.

Raja Sajid, a respected and well-known figure of the Pakistani community in New York, has once again been elected as the chairman of the Brooklyn Mela.

Raja Sajid will be the chairman of Brooklyn Mela to be held in August this year. Aziz Butt, the general secretary of Pakistani American Merchant Association, during a program held in Brooklyn, announced that Raja Sajid has been elected as the chairman of Brooklyn Mela.

Aziz Butt said that Raja Sajid has been elected as the chairman of Brooklyn Mela since 2014 and under his leadership the Brooklyn Mela was being organized successfully. He expressed hope that the Mela will be successful this year as well.

Raja Sajid thanked the Brooklyn Mela Committee including Aziz Butt, Javed Khan, Parvez Chaudhry for their continued trust.  He said that all members of the Pakistani community members will all work together to make the Mela as successful event as it is not belong to any group or political party but of the Pakistani community.

Raja Sajid said that it is the responsibility of all of Pakistani community members to make the Pakistan Day Parade a success because like the Brooklyn Mela, the Pakistan Day Parade is also a symbol and identity of Pakistan.

Raja Sajid welcomed Begum Shakeela Chaudhry on her arrival in the US and appreciated her services.

Former Member of National Assembly Begum Shakeela Chaudhry, her husband Dr. Khalid Luqman, Mian Fayyaz and other people were also present on this occasion.
