NEW YORK: House of Spices, a leading business group in New York, distributed thousands of bags of famous rice brand Laxmi to deserving people on the occasion of Ramadan.
Chief Operations Officer of the company Amrapali specially attended the event of food pantry organized by Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) Relief and distributed rice bags among hundreds of deserving people.
Talking with media, Amrapali appreciated the efforts of the welfare organization ICNA Relief.
Amrapali said that she was very happy to know that ICNA Relief is providing assistance to hundreds of people on a daily basis.
She said that House of Spices wanted to give one of best gift to Muslim community on the eve of Ramadan and Laxmi is the company’s best brand rice. She expressed hope that this cooperation will continue in the future.
ICNA Relief’s area manager Ishaq Alpar thanked the Amrapali and said that Relief will provide more assistance to the people with the assistance of House of Spices.
On this occasion, a big quae was seen who were waiting for their turn to receive the goods. Amrapali appreciated the services of volunteers of ICNA who were distributing food items to the people regardless of the cold weather and strong winds.
