NEW YORK: Muslims living in different countries around the world are enjoying the blessings of Ramadan.
Well-known businessman and social personality of the Pakistani American community in New York, Khawar Baig organized an Iftar dinner in honor of his close friends and prominent figures of the community.
A large number of people belonging to different walks of life, apart from political, social and business figures of the Pakistani community, participated in the Iftar dinner along with the US officials.
On this occasion, Khawar Baig said that the month of Ramadan teaches us patience, tolerance, brotherhood and unity.
He further said that fasting also teaches us discipline so that the life style we change in this month can be adopted for the rest of the year.
“Today reception is not only Iftar but also give us message that we should live together with unity and harmony, he added.
