Pakistani-American businessman Abdul Hafeez Khan conferred Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his social services

Pakistan Day ceremony held at Pakistan Embassy in Washington

WASHINGTON DC: A Pakistan Day ceremony was held at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, in which the Pakistani-American businessman Abdul Hafeez Khan was awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz for his social services.

Abdul Hafeez Khan is US based visionary businessman and philanthropist Pakistani who proved his abilities in the field of business in Dallas. Abdul Hafeez Khan was the first person  who arrived in Pakistan to help the countrymen who were devastated by floods in Pakistan in the year 2022. He postponed his business activities and engaged in relief work.

He built sixty new houses and repaired two hundred and fifty houses and made them livable again. He remained with the flood victims for thirty-five days and returned to his family after giving them the keys to their new houses. His non-profit organization Al-Razzak Foundation works for the welfare of needy people.

It is pertinent to mention that when the Muslim community living in Dallas faced the problem of a place for worship, Abdul Hafeez Khan came forward first and bought the church and converted it into the Razzaq Islamic Center and dedicated it to the Muslim community.

When Pakistan decided to auction the historic building of the Pakistani embassy in Washington DC, then Abdul Hafeez Khan bought the historic building and prevented it from going to hands of a non-Pakistani. His services for his homeland was also acknowledged in US Congress.
