American Pakistani Advocacy Group launches annual winter clothing drive

New York: American-Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) launched winter drive, warm clothes were distributed to more than three hundred needy people.

The American Pakistani Advocacy Group started its annual winter drive from the Muslim Center of New York in Flushing, Queens. APAG President Ali Rashid along with their organization volunteers and  Pakistani-American police from the New York Police Department distributed warm clothes to more than three hundred needy people.

APAG President Ali Rashid said that we tried to help needy people who have not necessary warm clothes, we also guided about job in NYPD and how they can join the New York Police Department.

whatever we are doing it’s all about team work and we always try to give back to the community at any where in New York, he added.


These warm garments included jackets, gloves, hats, scarves and socks. Community members and the administration of the Muslim Center of New York praised the efforts of APAG and Pakistani-American police officers of NYPD.
