PCA-USA hosts 32nd Annual Interfaith Dinner

Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus etc. participated and and appreciated PCA-USA for promotion of interfaith harmony

New York: With a vision to promote interfaith harmony among the followers of different religions living in the United States (U.S.), the Pakistan Christian Association of USA (PCA) hosted its 32nd Annual Interfaith Dinner which was attended by the representatives of different schools of thought, besides the U.S. officials in great numbers. 

The dinner reception began with recitation of a few verses of the holy Quran, followed by hymns, and Christian prayers.

Pakistani and American national anthems were also presented at the start of the ceremony.

The Secretary of the Pakistan Christian Association, James Cyprian, who was in charge of the arrangements for the event, while welcoming all the participants to attend the annual dinner, said that we have been performing various services for our people. Especially, in the month of Ramadan, we have been serving our Muslim brothers. We also break Iftar together, occasionally.

Aun Naqvi, Deputy Director of the Office of Asian Affairs from Nassau County, who participated in the event, said that I wish the best for the Pakistan Christian Association.

In the event, the Christian leaders expressed their views and said that we thank God Almighty for allowing us to connect. The real message of Christmas is peace and love and the Lord Jesus will promote love, unity, reconciliation, and forgiveness among us.

The Jewish leaders participating in the event said that they hope that the New Year will be a year of love, peace and brotherhood and the efforts of the Pak Christian Association for the promotion of inter-faith harmony are commendable.

In the event, various individuals were also honored with awards for their services.

Consul General of Pakistan in NYC Aamir Ahmad Atozai and other participants said that it is good to develop the relationship of love and friendship between different nationalities.

Music was also arranged at the end of the ceremony.
