State-of-the-art Cricket stadium to be constructed for T20 World Cup 2024 in Nassau County: Bruce Blackman announces

 Nassau County Deputy County Attorney Sheharyar Ali is overseeing the project's legal affairs

New York: Nassau County Executive Bruce Blackman officially announced the construction of a world-class cricket stadium in Nassau County for the T20 World Cup 2024.

The project’s legal affairs are being overseen by Nassau County Deputy County Attorney Sheharyar Ali.

Speaking at a press conference in Eisenhower Park, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blackman said, “I am proud to lead Nassau County.”

Our partners have a huge hand in making this project possible. In Nassau County, every possible effort will be made to promote healthy activities in the future, while all facilities in the cricket stadium will also be ensured.

Nassau County Legislator Candidate and Deputy County Attorney Sheharyar Ali will oversee the legal affairs of the cricket stadium project.

Shahryar Ali does not hold any public office but he always puts forward his services for the betterment of the community.

Chaudhry Akram, a prominent and active community leader in Nassau County, will be instrumental in establishing the cricket stadium. Chaudhry Akram is always active in the services of the Pakistani community.

United Cricket Club official Asim Malik, Long Island United Cricket Club official Babar Zia and Commonwealth President New York Ajit Bhasker thanked the Nassau County Executive and said that the establishment of a cricket stadium will promote cricket as well as the community. Youth will get a chance to come forward.

Senior Program Coordinator Office of Asian American Affairs Nassau County Aun Naqvi said that the announcement of the construction of international level cricket fields in Nassau County in collaboration with the International Cricket Council and Nassau County has brought joy to all cricket fans.

There was also a question answer session where apart from cricket fans, a large number of the community also participated in the event.
