NYPD’s MOS hosts grand Eid Gala at Adventure Park

Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Turkish, Middle Eastern, African, American, other communities attended the event

New York: New York Police Department’s (NYPD) Muslim Officers’ Society (MOS) organized an Eid Gala at Adventure Park that was largely attended by Muslim community members.

The event participants were treated with various foods and the children expressed their joy while playing different games.

Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Turkish, Middle Eastern, Yemeni, Egyptian, Albanian, African American, and other communities participated and enjoyed the event.

During the Eid Gala, children also took numerous rides and played video games.

In the Eid Gala, ice cream and food were also served to the participants, while game trucks, wall climbing, swings and dancing were also arranged for the children.

On this occasion, President of the New York Police Department’s Muslim Officers Society, Adeel Rana, thanked the sponsors, volunteers and park administration for their support in the Eid Gala and said that the participation of all Muslim communities in the joy of Eid is a source of joy.

Adventures Park Owner Tobi said that it has turned out to be a very beautiful event.  “I am grateful to all the participants of this event who participated and we have also made all security arrangements here.”

The purpose of this event is to send a message to other communities about how we celebrate this festival and how we show solidarity. We will continue to organize this event in a better way in the future.

Security measures were also taken by the New York Police Department regarding the Eid Gala. As part of security measures, aerial surveillance continued with the help of helicopters.
