New York: A dua ceremony was held for the salvation of the soul of the (late) Mother of Chaudhry Zameer Ahmed, a social and business personality of the Pakistani community in New York.
The mother of Chaudhry Zameer Ahmad, Chaudhry Naseer Ahmad, and Chaudhry Fareed Ahmed has passed away in Punjab, recently.
For the repose of her soul, a Qur’an recitation and prayers ceremony was organized at the Islamic Center in Long Island.
Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool (PBUH) was also presented by the community members on this occasion.
Later, renowned Naat khawan Asghar Chishti recited a Qasida in his unique voice and tone.
A large number of people belonging to different walks of life, including political, social, and business personalities of the Pakistani community participated in the prayers for forgiveness, while on this occasion, scholars explained the importance and dignity of the mother.
The participants hugged Zameer Chaudhry individually and expressed their condolences on the death of his mother and advised him to be patient.
Chaudhry Zameer Ahmed expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the people who participated in the Qur’an recitation and prayer ceremony.
The participants said that the demise of mother is is painful for everybody and it is a loss that can never be repaired in life.
