Brooklyn Borough President sets glaring example of interfaith harmony by offering congregational Namaz with Muslims.

Muslim community thanked Antonio Reynoso for organizing Iftar Dinner and for his services to the community.

NEW YORK: A glaring example of interfaith harmony, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, a non-Muslim by religion offered prayer (Namaz-e Magrib) in the congregation at an Iftar-Dinner function.

The grand Iftar-Dinner was held in honor of the Muslim Community at his office. Muslim community participated in large numbers at the event.

The Brooklyn Borough President, a non-Muslim by religion attended congregational prayers with Muslims. This guesture of inter-faith harmony is greatly admired by Muslims as well as non-Muslims in US and the world over.

Antonio Reynoso said the Muslim community is populated in large numbers. “This community has always supported me and I am grateful to them for that.”

In the event, awards were also distributed to those who have rendered valuable services to the community.
