New York: American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC) hosted a dinner in honor of Sabrina Zafar, a mayoral candidate from San Ramon, California.
APPAC New York Chapter President Adnan Bukhari, Director Asad Chaudhary and other community members attended the dinner at a local restaurant in Queens, New York.
APPAC Director Asad Chaudhary introduced Sabina and said that we are very happy to have Sabrina the mayoral candidate from San Ramon, California has come to New York.
Her personality is admirable, he said.
APPAC New York Chapter President Adnan Bukhari said that it is very important for the Pakistani community to participate in American politics and now people are becoming aware of it.
Sabrina Zafar said that it is important for our new generation to be a part of American politics.
Other people who participated in the event praised the role of APPAC and said that the American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee, is doing the best work for the American politics towards the Pakistani and Muslim community.
The participants of the dinner wished Sabrina Zafar success and thanked her for her advice.
