US announces an additional $1 million as humanitarian aid for the flood-hit Pakistan.

U.S and Pakistan will continue to work together to reduce the future effects of the climate crisis

US: As the record-breaking monsoon rains have racked havoc in parts of Pakistan’s Baluchistan and Sindh provinces, the US has come forward and announced an additional $1 million in aid for flood victims in Pakistan.

In a statement on the social networking site Twitter, the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that he stands with Pakistan in difficult times.

He said that they will continue to work together to reduce the future effects of the climate crisis. Before this, the United States has announced an aid of one hundred thousand dollars to Pakistan on August 16 to deal with natural disasters.
