Toys for Eid organized the event of Mega Toy Distribution Program in Nassau County, New York. It is the third event of its kind in Nassau County, organized jointly by ICNA Relief and Masjid Hamza, and hosted by Toys for Eid. Similar events have been held in the Bronx and Brooklyn before to double the joy of children’s Eid festivities.
Addressing the participants, Hamza Chaudhry of Toys for Eid mentioned that under this program, toys would also be distributed among ill children. He further said that on the occasion of Eid we want to add happiness to all those who are deserving.
Bruce Blakeman, Nassau County Executive, was the special guest at the event. Safwad Ahmed and Miss Rohi from Hamza Mosque thanked Hamza Chaudhary for this great event and congratulated him for sharing the joys of Eid with several people.
More than five thousand toys were distributed among children through the program. During the event, meal boxes and free ice-creams also distributed. Special arrangements were also made for face painting for children. Luxury cars like Mercedes Rolls Royce and sports cars were also the center of attention.
People from all age groups enjoyed the event.
