The blessings of Ramadhan continues in New Jersey, Muslims and people of different faith organizes charitable and fundraising events for destitute of the society.  Cultural Society of Bergen County organizes an Annual Charity Iftar while fundraising was also held for Mom’s Food Pantry on the occasion, a large number of participants donated generously in the fund raising.A large number of Muslim-American including men, women and children’s attended the event. Congresswoman Shama Haider, other US officials and Sohair Sokeri of the Institute for the Development of Children’s Intelligence especially attended the event. Iman Kamal administered the event while the ceremony begins with the recitation of the Holy Quran.While, Speaking to Vosa TV, Chief Administrator Farhat Khan has said that the idea of ​​Food Pantry is not new for this year, but such services have been already rendered before. People generously participated and made their donations in fundraising for Mom’s Food Pantry.Members of Mom’s Food Pantry said

“The distribution of hot meals among thousands of people during Pandemic is an honor for our team”.

At last, Mom’s foods presented the awards to the guests attended the Cultural society of Bergen County’s annual charity iftar. While US officials also presented awards to Mom’s foods members and volunteers in recognition of their humanitarian services.
