Helping Hearts Caring Souls, an organization that implants artificial limbs for the disabled and physically challenged in Pakistan, organized a fundraising event at a local restaurant in New York, large number of Pakistani community not only attended but also received funds. The ceremony began with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by national anthems of United States and Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Pakistani community especially women’s attended in large numbers. Senator Faisal Javed from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf also participated in the fund raising.
According to Senator,
“Allah has given us innumerable blessings. We must help those who help others.”
A picture of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan sold out for $ 10,000. Speakers appreciated the efforts of Helping Hearts and assured all possible cooperation.
Amna Iftikhar, presided the event and said that it was the duty of all of us to help the disabled and handicapped people of Pakistan, while Anjum Anwar, founder of Helping Hearts Caring Souls, spokes to VOSA TV to help those in need and described the efforts in detail.
Needy people get a new life with the help of overseas Pakistani’s and such people always remembered by these deprives.
