MNA Shakoor Shad, who defeated Bilawal Bhutto in Lyari on NA 246 constituency, is currently on a US visit. He will be coming to New York in next few days and will also meet with the community.
A function organized by the Pak-US Business Forum in Houston, Texas, special guest Federal Minister Asad Umar has said that it was not easy to defeat Bilawal Bhutto in the PPP stronghold Lyari area of Karachi in the 2018 elections. Yes, but Shakur Shad did it.
The event was attended by Shakoor Shad, Member National Assembly from Lyari, Pakistan Counsel General Abrar Hashmi and a large number of dignitaries from the Pakistani American business community. Forum President Riaz Hussain, Director Nadeem Zaman, Director Muhammad Nawaz, Secretary Anwar Azam and Chairman Waqar Khan welcomed the guests.
PTI Texas President Syed Rashid Bukhari also hosted a lunch in honor of Shakur Shad, at a local restaurant which was attended by PTI officials, workers, social and business personalities of the Pakistani community.
While addressing, Shakur Shad said that elections of 2018 were fair and transparent, if there had been rigging, Bilawal Bhutto would have won the election.
