Ceremony held for the survival of humanity during 9/11 and Pandemic.

Coney Island, New York

A ceremony was held on Little Pakistan, Coney Island Avenue, New York to commemorate 9/11 tragedy, in honor of the heroes of 9/11 and for humanity service during Covid 19. Awards were given to several personalities at the ceremony. There are many sacrifices for the service and survival of humanity and each person has a unique story.The event was jointly organized by the Pakistani American Youth Society, the Pakistani American Law Enforcement Society and Helping Hands Brighton Beach. The ceremony begins with Chaplin Imam Tahir recitation of Holy Quran. US National anthem was also performed. Pakistan’s Consul General Ayesha Ali was the chief guest at the event, a large number of community dignitaries, including US officials, New York police officers, Public Advocate Jummani Williams, Kashif Hussain of PAYS and others attended the ceremony.

New York City Public Advocate Jummani Williams addressing the participants and said that tragedy of 9/11 and the pandemic outbreak will always be remembered. Those who worked for humanity in these difficult times will always live in our hearts.U.S. officials also expressed their feelings on the 20th anniversary of 9/11 tragedy, and said that two decades have passed since the terrorist attack, but grief of losing loved ones in the tragedy is still fresh.

Muslims in the US and their organizations have served humanity without distinction, whether it is the tragedy of 9/11 or the Pandemic outbreak.PAYS Presidents, Kashif Hussain and Zunaira, has said that there an example of Pakistani community to helping those in distress during Pandemic.At last, Chaplin Imam Tahir prayed for 9/11 and Corona pandemic victims.
