75th Independence celebrations held at Hicksville, Oyster Baytown.

Independence Day celebrations were held in different areas and towns of New York on the 75th Independence anniversary of Pakistan. South Asian Advisory Board of the Oyster Bay Community Organization in Hicksville was hosted the event. The ceremony began with the performance of Pakistani and American national anthem. The green crescent Pakistani flag was hoisted on the occasion of Independence Day.

The special guest of the event was Joseph Saladino, Supervisor, Oyster Baytown, other US officials and a large number of members of the Pakistani community attended the event.

Corona SOPs were strictly followed on the occasion. While addressing the function, Joseph Saladino congratulated the Pakistani community.

There has always been a good experience with Pakistanis. The Pakistani community has played an important role in the development of the US. Pakistani culture greatly influences me Saladino added.

On the celebrations, Zeeshan, Asim Malik, Umar Chaudhry, Atiq Qadri, Salman Sheikh and Ejaz Hassan from the Pakistani community prayed for the prosperity and development of Pakistan and said that our identity is only Pakistanis and that is meant to us.

At last, Joseph Saladino presented honorary Certificates to the social figures of the Pakistani community for their gallant service to the community, while the Pakistani community thanked American officials for attending the ceremony.
