South Asian Democratic Club arranged meet and greet in Edison, New Jersey.

Women voters assured their full support in the mayoral election.

The South Asian Democratic Club hosted a meet and greet at a local hotel with the community and U.S. officials of Edison, New Jersey mayoral candidate Sam Joshi.

 

The event was attended by a large number of members of the South Asian community, including Senator Pat D. Eganon, Congressman Frank Pallone, Chairman Kevin McCabe, Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak, Commissioner Shanti Nara, and County Commissioner Scott McCallum. Sam Khan, the active member of the South Asian community, introduces Edison mayoral candidate Sam Joshi and other US officials.

On the occasion, Sam Joshi said that religion, nationality and race do not matter in the best democratic values; we should be the guardians of democratic values.

Town and county local candidates, including U.S. officials, shared their ideas, suggestions, and plans for the betterment of the people.

Sam Khan, the host of the event, expressed his views, saying that race has given importance to the selection of candidates in the society and we should abandon this practice.

The event was also attended by a large number of women voters. Participants assured Sam Khan of their full support in the mayoral election.
