PTI America hosted an Iftar dinner at a local restaurant in New Jersey. The Iftar party was attended by community business and social personalities including, PTI US President Johnny Bashir, Vice President Naveed Warraich, Secretary Sam Khan, Senior Leader Khawar Baig, Pervez Riaz, Chaudhry Zameer, Khurshid Bhali, PTI Virginia, PTI Connecticut, PTI New York, PTI New Jersey and PTI Maryland workers also attended.
On the occasion, PTI workers and Naveed Warraich condemns the current situation in Pakistan and said that the attacks on Pakistani security personals were unacceptable and disgraceful.
Taswar ul Hassan Gilani also attended the Iftar party. He said in his statement that he strongly condemned the recent incidents of torture on police in Pakistan.
Quran recitation was also arranged in the Iftar party on the occasion of Ramadan. Later, Taswarul Hassan Gilani also offered special supplications.
At the end of the event, the participants thanked Naveed Warraich for inviting them to the party and said that such events provide an opportunity for the community to come together.
