PACOLI food pantry for needy near home depot, Long Island

The Pakistani American Community of Long Island (PACOLI) organize a food pantry near home depot, Long Island, New York. Two hundred people benefited from free rations distribution.

Members of PACOLI team Asim Malik, Azra Dar, Humayun Shabbir, Salman Sheikh, Tahira Sharif and Usman Abbas were present on the occasion to provide rations to the citizens.

The PACOLI team said that COVID-19 has severely affected US economy as well as the rest of the world. As a result, the citizens are facing severe financial difficulties and there are some who do not even have money to eat two meals a day.

The purpose of setting up this food pantry is to support and help the citizens in difficult times. Citizens follow SOPs, wearing masks and lined up to receive free rations on their turn.
