85m people come to Masjid al-Haram for Umrah since pandemic outbreak, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais.

2.214m people performs Umrah and 6.32m have prayed.

The administration of the affairs of two holy Mosques in Saudi Arabia says that more than eighty-five million people have come to Masjid al-Haram for performing Umrah since COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

Immam e Kabaa, Chief of Administration of two holy mosques, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, addressing the participants of the online seminar titled ‘Saudi Arabia’s services in Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi during the Corona pandemic’.

Dr. Al-Sudais said that, films and news released by the management of holy mosques around the world will be welcomed. Imam of Kaaba has also said that media has become the biggest weapon in modern times. Through media we spread Islamic teachings and culture all over the world. He thanks to the workers for doing so.

According to Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, since the restoration of Umrah, facility of prayer and Umrah provided to more than 8.5 million people, from October 4, 2020 to February 6, 2021. 2.214 million people performed Umrah and 6.32 million have prayed in Masjid-ul-Haram with SOP’s.

Through media, we are exposing the whole world to our beliefs, our culture, our methods, our morals, our values, our traditions, our moderation. Saudi leadership are also arrange and provides vast facilities for the pilgrims in the holy cities Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais added.
