Pakistani American community of Long Island New York (PACOLI) celebrates its 14th anniversary. Bashir Qamar, Founder of PACOLI, along with Pakistani community enjoins the Cake cutting ceremony at residence of Doctor Aijaz Hassan.
While Addressing to ceremony attendees Bashir Qamar said PACOLI is the first Organization in the area of Long Island whose Started political and Social activities. He also expressed PACOLI is not Only an organization, but it’s a family.
The ceremony attended by PACOLI President Asim Malik, Senior Vice President Azra Dar, Vice President Atiq Qadri, General Secretary Humayun Sheikh, Comptroller Salman Sheikh, Jamal Mohsin and members of the organization along with a large number of people from the Pakistani community.
Tahira deen told to Voice of South Asia (VOSA) “I have been working for eight years with PACOLI and found it like family, we always strive to work for goodness of the community’’.
Vice President of PACOLI Atiq Qadri Said that his organization did lot of things for the Pakistani community including Charity works, religious and Political activities and involved our community into local politics.
Specially Pakistan day program always make feel them sound of homeland, he added.
During ceremony Salman sheikh said we helped and support a lot Pakistani community in this pandemic situation and we strive to work hard to bring PACOLI on highest rank.
Salman Zafar also shared his views about PACOLI. Talking to VOSA he congratulated 14th anniversary to their members and said there is no substitute of PACOLI, It becomes stronger every day.
Either Elected official night, soup kitchen, candidate campaign or festivities of August, PACOLI organizes an event at least once in a month, He added.
