Two Pakistani-American police officers promoted to the rank of sergeant in the New York Police Department

Two Pakistani-American police officers have been promoted to sergeants in the New York Police Department. The promoted officers include Sergeant Zeeshan Munawar and Sergeant Naqshib Altaf. A special ceremony was held at New York Police Headquarters, One Police Plaza, to announce the promotions and rankings of the promoted officers. Due to the corona virus, all the officers were wearing masks and a limited number of people attended the ceremony.

 The ceremony was attended by senior police officials, including the commissioner of the New York Police Department. He congratulated the promoted police officers and hoped that they would perform their duties well in their new posts.

 Pakistani-American police officers at the New York Police, PALS, a representative organization, and the community have also congratulated Sgt. Zeeshan Munawar and Sgt. Naqshib Altaf on their promotion.
