2 Peoples, a Man and woman wounded in Upper Manhattan shooting

A man and woman were shot and wounded on an Inwood street Wednesday night, police sources said.

Witnesses heard a half-dozen shots at the corner of Post Ave. and W. 204th St. at about 10:30 p.m., where police found a 27-year-old man shot in the buttocks and a 37-year-old woman hit in the leg, sources said.

The witnesses also heard a car speed off, going west on W. 204th St.

Medics took both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, sources said.

Police were investigating whether the shooting was drug-related, sources said.
