Helicopter Crash In Taiwan Has Military Chief Dead Among 8 Others

According to the defense ministry of Taiwan, a military helicopter carrying an Army chief among 8 others crashed in the mountains, with 5 of the lot surviving the crash.

According to the defense military, the helicopter was enroute to visit soldiers when bad weather obstructed causing the fall.

The main portion of the helicopter lay in a northern forest wreathed in mist, its blades shattered, as dozens of rescuers combed the wreck for survivors, pictures released by emergency authorities showed.

The exact reasons for the crash however remaining unknown in the wake of a forced landing, the military confirmed that chief of general staff Air Force General Shen Yi-Ming had die in a statement, adding that the chief of general staff, Air Force General Shen Yi-ming, had died as a result of the crash.
